UNISOC Launches Global Classroom to Inspire Future Innovators

On November 7, 2025, in Shanghai, UNISOC unveiled the “ChipFire” classroom, a global science education initiative aimed at stimulating interest in technology among young people. This program offers engaging, hands-on learning experiences focusing on chips and 5G technology. To date, over 10,000 teachers and students have participated, discovering the transformative power of innovation.

Commitment to Sustainable Innovation

As a leading global technology company, UNISOC emphasizes the importance of sustainable and responsible innovation. Guided by Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, the company champions low-carbon development and digital inclusion. UNISOC believes that technology should not only enhance performance but also respect the environment.

Recent advancements in chip technology reflect this commitment. In the past year, UNISOC’s chips have facilitated billions of shared bike rides, resulting in a reduction of more than 900,000 tons of carbon emissions. Additionally, the company’s 5G chip has achieved a 40% reduction in core power consumption, eliminating approximately 816,000 tons of CO2 annually—significantly lower than the industry average. Their high-efficiency chips have also enabled partners to optimize power consumption by an average of 20%, collectively cutting about 310,000 tons of carbon emissions each year across various industries.

Bridging the Digital Divide

While technology advances rapidly, three billion people worldwide still lack access to digital resources. UNISOC’s philosophy centers on making technology inclusive, asserting that innovation should connect rather than divide. Products powered by UNISOC have reached over 140 countries, with one out of every eight smartphones and one out of every four cellular IoT devices utilizing their technology.

UNISOC’s initiatives extend beyond standard technology. The company has introduced senior-friendly smartphones and health-monitoring watches, aiding tens of millions of elderly individuals in integrating into the digital realm. Furthermore, their focus on children’s smart wearables has provided protection for over 100 million children globally. Through the ChipFire classroom, young participants engage in science and innovation, experiencing hands-on experiments that ignite their curiosity.

UNISOC’s smart POS terminals are also contributing to small businesses by facilitating seamless payment experiences, thereby supporting local entrepreneurs and their aspirations.

Building Trust Through Responsible Practices

In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, trust in technology is paramount. UNISOC views responsible operations and low-carbon practices as essential components of building that trust. The company integrates ESG principles into its corporate strategy, ensuring transparency and efficiency in its operations.

During the recent reporting period, UNISOC recorded a total of 14,876.8 tons of CO2 equivalent emissions, achieving an emission intensity of only 0.94 tons per million RMB in revenue—significantly below the industry standard. The company also promotes green office practices, encouraging a paperless workflow and efficient operations to foster sustainability in everyday work environments.

Recognizing social responsibility as a long-term commitment, UNISOC aims to collaborate with global partners and customers to advance low-carbon and sustainable development. Their vision is to ensure that each technological innovation remains trustworthy and beneficial for all.

Through initiatives like the ChipFire classroom and a commitment to sustainable practices, UNISOC is not only making innovation accessible but also striving to create a future where technology connects everyone, everywhere.
