Authorities are urgently seeking assistance from the public to locate a missing woman from Carramar, located in Sydney’s south-west. Maria Jorguera, aged 75, was last seen on November 26, 2025, at approximately 12:30 PM in Laurel Street. After further inquiries, investigators believe she was at Carramar Railway Station around 1:45 PM on the same day.
When Maria could not be located or contacted, officers from the Fairfield Police Area Command were alerted and began searches for her. Family members and law enforcement are increasingly concerned for her wellbeing as she requires medication.
Maria is described as having an olive complexion, standing between 145 cm and 155 cm tall, and of thin build. She has grey and black hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a dark floral dress, a white shirt, a grey jumper, and light-coloured jeans.
Her familiarity with public transport in the area is notable, as she frequently travels between Carramar, Cabramatta, Fairfield, and Ingleburn. Anyone with information regarding Maria’s whereabouts is encouraged to reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or visit their website at https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. All information will be handled confidentially, and the public is reminded not to report information through social media channels of the NSW Police.
As authorities continue their search, they are hopeful that the community will assist in bringing Maria home safely.
