A new dining destination is set to emerge in Miami’s vibrant Little Havana neighborhood. Gastronomica Miami, known for its popular establishments such as Sala’o Cuban Restaurant & Bar and Old’s Havana Cuban Bar & Cocina, is preparing to launch La Gozadera. According to plan review documents submitted by La Gozadera Little Havana LLC, the restaurant will open at 816 SW 12th Ct, near the intersection with Tamiami Trail.
Gastronomica’s managing member, Earl J. Campos Devine, confirmed the upcoming opening to What Now on Wednesday. The anticipated launch is scheduled for Winter 2025/2026. Campos Devine also mentioned that the company has plans for additional locations to open prior to La Gozadera’s debut, although specific details remain pending.
Clarifying Connections and History
An interesting detail surrounding La Gozadera involves its connection to previous establishments in the area. The project is linked to the Mige Group and restaurateur Alexander Delgado. Delgado is associated with La Gozadera LLC, which is listed as an authorized member alongside Gastronomica Little Havana Corp for La Gozadera Little Havana LLC.
Additionally, the location at 7844 Coral Way previously housed a restaurant called Gozadera Restaurant, which has since closed. This raises questions about the brand’s evolution and future direction, necessitating some clarification for both potential patrons and industry observers.
As Gastronomica Miami prepares for this new venture, further information is expected to emerge. The restaurant’s identity and offerings could add fresh excitement to Miami’s culinary landscape. Stay tuned for updates as more details about La Gozadera are released.
