Salad and Go Launches Sweet Treats and New Beverages

Salad and Go, the popular drive-thru salad restaurant chain, has expanded its menu to include sweet treats for the first time. Responding to customer requests, the brand introduced a gluten-free Chewy Marshmallow Bar along with two new beverages, marking a notable shift in its offerings.

The Chewy Marshmallow Bar, made with browned butter and sea salt, features a rich, soft texture complemented by a caramelized finish. This addition comes alongside the launch of Toasted Marshmallow Lemonade and Toasted Marshmallow Cold Brew. Both drinks are designed to enhance the dining experience with their hints of vanilla and caramelized marshmallow, and they are topped with creamy cold foam.

Menu Expansion and Affordable Pricing

The introduction of these items reflects Salad and Go’s ongoing commitment to innovation and affordability. Each of the new menu items is priced under $5, maintaining the brand’s dedication to providing accessible options for its customers. The rollout began on December 3, 2025, and all items are available at locations nationwide.

Recent menu additions also include Slow-Roasted Chicken, which was introduced as part of the brand’s broader strategy to diversify its menu. The consistent expansion of offerings aligns with a customer-centric approach, as the company actively incorporates guest feedback into its product development.

Customer Insights and Future Plans

According to data from Circana, a significant 62% of Americans consider small treats an essential part of everyday life. This insight has influenced Salad and Go’s decision to incorporate sweet options into its predominantly healthy menu.

Daniel Patino, co-founder and executive chef of Salad and Go, emphasized the importance of customer input in shaping menu innovations.

“After recently launching our new, slow-roasted chicken, we’re continuing to build our broader menu innovation strategy with the introduction of a sweet treat and new beverages,”

said Tom Carusona, the chief marketing officer of Salad and Go. He added that the brand remains committed to offering variety, quality, convenience, and sweet options to elevate the salad experience.

Customers can enjoy the new offerings by ordering through the drive-thru, mobile app, or online for pickup and delivery. Salad and Go continues to prioritize convenience and affordability while providing nutritious food options for its clientele.
