Salata, the Texas-based fast-casual franchise known for its customizable salads, is set to open a new location at Nocatee Town Center in Jacksonville. This expansion adds to Salata’s growing presence, which now includes 86 locations across five states. The restaurant is expected to debut soon, providing local residents with a fresh dining option.
At Salata, customers have the opportunity to create their own salads or wraps. Guests can choose from a selection of more than 50 different ingredients and a variety of dressings, including popular options such as Buttermilk Ranch and Classic Caesar, as well as unique flavors like Jalapeño Avocado and Ginger Lime. The chain emphasizes the importance of customization, encouraging patrons to make their meals as unique as they are.
The new Nocatee Town Center location will be operated by local entrepreneurs Jason and Sandy O’Hara. According to recent coverage by the St. Johns Citizen, the O’Hara family is excited to bring the Salata experience to the Jacksonville area.
Salata’s journey began in 2005 with a single salad bar in downtown Houston. The brand has since flourished, with a focus on quality ingredients and customer satisfaction. As stated on their website, “Your love and support has helped us grow from a single salad bar in downtown Houston to locations nationwide—all with one simple idea in mind: Your salad is what you make it.”
