Hisense, a prominent player in the consumer electronics sector, introduced its ambitious “Boundless” vision during the 2025 Laser Display Technology and Industry Development Conference held in Qingdao, China, on September 19, 2025. The event highlighted a decade of advancements in laser display technology, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to pushing the limits of display capabilities.
The “Boundless” theme encapsulates the versatility and potential of laser displays, which range from sizes of 65 to 300 inches and applications spanning homes, vehicles, cinemas, and industrial environments. Over the past ten years, laser technology has transitioned from a niche concept to a cornerstone of the global television industry, evolving into a shared ecosystem embraced by consumers worldwide.
According to a report by Technavio, the global projector market has experienced consistent growth, expanding for three consecutive years from 2020 to 2023. This growth reinforces Hisense’s standing as a leader in the industry. A recent Omdia report for the first half of 2025 reveals that Hisense has held the top position in global laser TV shipments every year since 2019, achieving a remarkable 70.0% volume share in the first half of 2025.
From January to August 2025, Hisense’s laser products recorded an impressive 85% sales growth and 64% revenue growth in international markets, excluding China and Japan. This performance underscores the company’s global leadership in the sector.
At the conference, Hisense showcased a portfolio of products embodying its “Boundless” ethos. The L9Q TriChroma Laser TV and the C2 Ultra triple color Laser Mini Projector are already available in overseas markets, providing cinema-grade experiences and large-scale entertainment for consumers. The L9Q Laser TV, developed in collaboration with the Opéra de Paris and Devialet, offers premium viewing options from 80 to 200 inches, boasting 5,000 ANSI Lumens and a contrast ratio of 5,000:1. It is certified with notable standards such as IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision, elevating the home theater experience.
The C2 Ultra, tailored for gaming enthusiasts, projects images up to 300 inches with ultra-low latency and vibrant colors, making it an ideal choice for both gamers and movie lovers.
A significant highlight of the conference was the unveiling of the world’s first integrated Rollable Laser TV, a compact design that merges screen and engine, streamlining installation by eliminating the need for cabinets and pre-installation surveys. This innovation not only enhances functionality but also complements modern interior aesthetics.
By redefining the boundaries of size, color, and viewing experience, Hisense strengthens its position as a global technology leader and a creator of innovative lifestyles. The company aims to drive the industry forward, heralding a new era of “Boundless” display technology.
