The ambrose event took place under perfect weather conditions, making it a memorable day for all involved.

Their contributions directly benefit athletes, highlighting the mission of Special Olympics Sydney South, which has empowered individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism for 35 years.

The charity day showcased the organization’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles through eight sports across eleven weekly sessions. Volunteers and athletes celebrated every achievement, big or small, paving pathways for local competitions to the international stage.

Special Olympics athlete Carl O’Farrell, who clinched the longest drive in the athlete division, shared, “Helping my fellow athletes develop their golf skills is my biggest achievement.”

Feedback highlighted the excellent condition of the golf course and the outstanding service from the Cronulla Golf Club team, as reported by volunteer Peter Lyons.
