Two Arrested in Blaze at Deicke’s Business Amid Arson Spree

URGENT UPDATE: Two men have been arrested outside the burning Melbourne Collision Repair Centre, owned by millionaire entrepreneur David “Hollywood” Deicke, as a string of suspicious fires continues to plague his businesses. The fire was reported at approximately 3:40 AM on Friday in Laverton, Melbourne, just a day after another of Deicke’s establishments was targeted in a firebombing incident.

Authorities confirm that police on patrol discovered the blaze and quickly apprehended two suspects at the scene. One individual sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital under police guard. The second suspect is expected to be interviewed by detectives as the investigation unfolds.

The fire at the Melbourne Collision Repair Centre marks the latest incident in a series of arson attacks aimed at Deicke’s businesses. Earlier, emergency services were called to a second fire at AutoSport Prestige, a luxury car dealership located on Taunton Drive in Cheltenham. Arriving firefighters found the establishment engulfed in flames, with 90 high-end vehicles severely damaged by fire and smoke. It took nearly two hours for firefighters to bring the blaze under control, which had spread to a nearby building.

Police are treating both incidents as suspicious and have launched an investigation to determine if there is a connection between the two fires. The situation remains fluid, and authorities are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

These alarming events not only threaten the livelihoods of those involved but also raise serious concerns about safety in the community. As Deicke’s businesses face repeated attacks, the urgency for answers escalates, leaving many in the area on edge.

As the investigation develops, updates will follow. Stay tuned for the latest on this ongoing situation.
