Urgent Plea as 14-Year-Old Girl Goes Missing in Queensland

UPDATE: The mother of a 14-year-old girl, missing since Tuesday morning in Clinton, Gladstone, has issued an urgent plea for help, stating that her daughter’s disappearance is “out of character.” Authorities are actively seeking information from the public regarding the whereabouts of Paige, last seen at approximately 6:20 AM on Fitzroy Ave.

Police are deeply concerned for Paige’s welfare, emphasizing her young age as a significant factor. According to a police statement, “We hold concerns for the girl’s welfare due to her young age.” The young girl is described as Caucasian, with red hair, and was last seen wearing a navy and white polo shirt paired with shorts.

Her mother, Rebecca Maddin, has taken to social media, urging anyone with information to reach out. “If anyone sees my daughter Paige, please get in contact with me,” she wrote. “She was ready for school this morning, and when I arrived home from work, she was not home, which is out of character. I am really worried for her safety as girls have not been the kindest to her.”

Officials are urging anyone with information to contact Policelink immediately. The emotional plea highlights the urgency of the situation as the community rallies to locate Paige.

Authorities are continuing their search and have called on the public’s assistance to ensure Paige’s safe return. The police have emphasized that any piece of information, no matter how small, could be crucial in bringing this young girl back home.

As this situation develops, the community remains on high alert, hoping for Paige’s swift and safe return. Stay tuned for updates as more information becomes available.
