WA Punters Celebrate $7.5M Oz Lotto Win as Luck Strikes Again

A NSW mum nearly skipped buying her weekly OZ lotto ticket which, it turns out, would been a $15 million mistake.

UPDATE: A lucky punter from Western Australia has just transformed their life, winning a staggering $7.5 million from Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw. This significant windfall comes as part of draw #1648, where two winners claimed the coveted division one prize, each taking home $7.5 million.

The winning numbers for the draw were 20, 35, 31, 3, 42, 37, and 7, with supplementary numbers being 33, 30, and 18. While WA celebrated its latest division one win, the luck in division two fell short in the region, with all four winners of the $74,375.25 prize hailing from the eastern states.

Despite this, eight West Australians secured a respectable $4,816.35 each from the division three prize, showcasing that fortune is still favoring local players.

This latest win marks a phenomenal trend for Western Australia, bringing the state’s total to 58 division one winners in 2025 alone. Just days before, a $2 million windfall was also reported, stemming from a ticket purchased at Harvey Newsagency in the state’s South West.

Nayan Patel, the manager of Harvey Newsagency, described the atmosphere at the store as electric, saying, “Lots of customers have been coming into the store this morning congratulating us and sharing the excitement, even in the rain.” He expressed his joy over the recent wins, noting, “We sold two division two Saturday Lotto prizes in the last two months; it’s brilliant to finally sell a division one winning ticket.”

As excitement builds among punters, this recent draw underscores the significant role of lottery wins in changing lives and invigorating local communities. The buzz around Harvey Newsagency serves as a reminder of how quickly fortunes can change, sparking hope and enthusiasm.

What happens next? Players across Australia are gearing up for the next draw, eager to see if they can replicate this success. With the Oz Lotto’s popularity surging, attention will remain keen on Western Australia as it continues to emerge as a hotspot for lottery winners.

Stay tuned for further updates as this story develops. Share this incredible news and celebrate the ongoing luck in WA!
