URGENT UPDATE: The 32nd Borderline Street Rodders Yamba Rod Run has officially broken records with 511 entrants, drawing thousands of car enthusiasts and spectators to Ford Park over the weekend. This remarkable turnout surpasses the previous record of 480 entrants, marking a triumphant celebration for the local community.
On November 11, 2025, attendees flocked to Ford Park from as far as Tasmania and Cairns, eager to admire nearly 500 stunning cars on display. The Show and Shine event captivated crowds from 9 AM to noon, creating an electric atmosphere filled with excitement and camaraderie.
Craig Nolan, President of Borderline Street Rodders, expressed joy over the record-breaking participation, stating, “Everyone has said they had a really good time.” However, some entrants opted to stay off-site due to the park’s full capacity, which led to a substantial increase in local rentals.
“The park was booked out, so a lot of people rented houses around town,” Nolan added. “We are happy to come back, so long as they are happy to have us back.”
Local businesses reported an influx of customers, showcasing the event’s significant impact on the community’s economy. Over its 32-year history, the Yamba Rod Run has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various charities, showcasing its dedication to giving back.
This year, the community auctioned off unique items, including a vintage fridge and a signed document from Moon Eyes in the U.S. Proceeds from these auctions will benefit the Meningococcal Foundation, with the club matching the total raised, further emphasizing the event’s charitable spirit.
The festivities included multiple activities throughout the week, including observation drives to local hotspots like Sanctus Brewery and scenic routes around Yamba and Angourie.
