UPDATE: A 25-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a tragic hit-and-run that led to the death of a 55-year-old man in Glendalough, just north of Perth. The incident occurred on Thursday night, around 7:30 PM, when emergency services responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Harborne Street.
The victim was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. Authorities quickly launched an appeal for information as the driver responsible failed to stop at the scene. The investigation took a significant turn when, on Saturday, police announced that the woman had been charged with multiple offenses, including failure to stop and assist after an incident occasioning death and failure to report the incident.
