Beau Lamarre-Condon Pleads in Court for Double Murder Charges

Heartbreaking revelations have surfaced as friends reveal what Jesse Baird was about to achieve, just before his life was tragically taken by a NSW police officer.

UPDATE: In a highly anticipated court appearance, accused killer cop Beau Lamarre-Condon is set to enter his plea regarding the alleged murders of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies. This critical development will unfold on Tuesday morning at the Downing Centre Local Court, with the former police officer appearing via audiovisual link from Silverwater Prison.

Lawyers representing Lamarre-Condon are expected to deliver a decisive moment in this ongoing case, with his attorney, Ben Archbold, submitting pleas to two charges of murder stemming from a shocking incident that took place on February 19, 2024. The murders reportedly occurred at Baird’s residence in Paddington, Sydney, where gunshots were heard early that morning.

The gravity of this case escalated dramatically when it was revealed that Lamarre-Condon, then a member of the NSW Police, is accused of using his service pistol to shoot both Baird, a 26-year-old television presenter, and his 29-year-old boyfriend, Davies, a Qantas flight attendant. Following the alleged shootings, the accused is said to have transported their bodies in surfboard bags to a remote location approximately 180 km southwest of Sydney.

Authorities located the remains of Baird and Davies in the NSW Southern Tablelands on February 27, 2024, just days after the alleged crime. The timeline compiled by Deputy Commissioner Dave Hudson suggests a premeditated effort to conceal the heinous act. On the evening of the murders, Lamarre-Condon reportedly rented a Toyota HiAce van from Sydney Airport and traveled to a rural property near Bungonia with a female companion. He allegedly left the property around 4:30 AM the following day and was later seen seeking to clean the rental vehicle.

Lamarre-Condon turned himself in at the Bondi police station on February 23, only to have the police find the bodies days later. Currently held for over a year and a half, he faces not only murder charges but also a count of breaking and entering with intent to commit an indictable offense.

This case has drawn significant media attention, given Lamarre-Condon’s background as a former celebrity blogger who had relationships with notable figures. He was dismissed from the police force in March 2023, shortly after the murders.

As the court hearing approaches, many are asking: What will the pleas be? This case continues to resonate deeply within the community, raising questions about safety and accountability among those in positions of power.
