Suzi Quatro Discusses Reincarnation and Her Future Projects

Suzi Quatro, the iconic rock musician, has shared her beliefs about the afterlife, stating her conviction in reincarnation. The 75-year-old singer, who has experienced the loss of both her parents, Art and Helen, believes that life offers opportunities to return and learn from past mistakes. During her recent appearance on the Mumbelievable podcast, Quatro articulated her views, expressing that life is about learning lessons and the chance to improve oneself in future incarnations.

Quatro referenced her parents in discussing her beliefs, noting her mother’s sentiment that “you always win with God.” She also recalled her father’s skepticism regarding the afterlife, saying, “Why should I go to heaven, I won’t know anybody.” Quatro quoted Brian May, a fellow musician, who remarked, “Who wants to live forever when love must die,” highlighting the complexities surrounding life and death.

Reflecting on Life and Legacy

In a light-hearted moment, Quatro revealed her desired epitaph, reflecting her Gemini nature. One side of her gravestone will read, “Now I get it,” which she believes often elicits laughter due to its humorous context. The other side states, “So many dreams, too little time,” encapsulating her aspirations and the urgency she feels about her creative endeavors.

Despite contemplating her own mortality, Quatro remains vibrant and active in her career. She is currently working on her 18th studio album, building on the success of her previous releases, including No Control from 2019 and Face To Face, a collaborative project with KT Tunstall from 2023.

Quatro is undeterred by age, maintaining a rigorous touring schedule. “I’m touring non-stop. I do about 80 shows a year,” she stated, highlighting her commitment to live performances. In August, she will travel across Europe, particularly in Germany, followed by her 41st tour in Australia in October. She has also planned ten major shows in the UK for April next year.

Continued Creativity

Quatro’s passion for music and creativity remains strong. “I’m in the middle of making my new album; everything is good,” she affirmed. Her enthusiasm for artistic expression is evident as she continues to write, perform, and explore various creative outlets, including drawing and poetry.

In a world where many might slow down, Quatro defies expectations, embodying the spirit of a true rock legend. Her belief in reincarnation appears to fuel her drive, suggesting that she sees each day as another opportunity to create and connect with her audience.
