URGENT UPDATE: This Saturday, September 6, firefighters and emergency services personnel from across Australia will converge on Melbourne for the highly anticipated 12th Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb. These brave individuals will tackle a challenging ascent of 28 floors at the Crown Metropol, donning up to 25kg of operational gear, all in a bid to raise critical funds for several charities.

The climb serves as a powerful symbol of the significant health and well-being challenges faced by first responders and their families daily. With a fundraising target of $1 Million, the event aims to support vital organizations, including Lifeline, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation, and 000Foundation.

Participants will not be alone; a dedicated team of volunteers and medical support staff will be on hand to cheer them on and ensure their safety throughout the climb. This collaboration highlights the community support that underpins the event and the importance of addressing the well-being of those who serve on the front lines.

Donations are urgently needed to reach the $1 Million goal. Every contribution helps provide essential resources and support to first responders grappling with mental health issues and other challenges resulting from their demanding work.
