Aussie Acts Head to Coachella 2026: Major Festival Lineup Revealed

BREAKING: Four Australian acts are set to take the stage at the highly anticipated Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, as part of a star-studded lineup that includes global superstars Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G. This exciting news was just announced on September 17 and marks a significant moment for these homegrown talents as they transition from local gigs to an international platform.

The festival, which runs from April 10 to 19, 2026, will feature Royel Otis, Ecca Vandal, the Chats, and Ninajirachi among its diverse lineup. Coachella has long been a key indicator of global music trends, showcasing both established stars and emerging artists who resonate with audiences worldwide.

Royel Otis, an indie rock duo from Sydney, will perform on April 11 and 18. They gained international attention with their covers of classic hits like Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor” and The Cranberries’ “Linger.” Their catchy original tracks, including “Who’s Your Boyfriend” and “Oysters In My Pocket,” have further solidified their place in the music scene.

Festival-goers will also be treated to Ecca Vandal’s electrifying performance on April 12 and 19. The South African-born, Melbourne-based artist blends punk, hip hop, and electronica, winning hearts with her raw energy. She has previously supported renowned bands like Queens of the Stone Age and impressed music icons such as Ben Lee and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Australian punk rock band the Chats will inject their signature humor into their performances on April 12 and 19. Known for their crowd-pleasing anthem “I’m on smoko, so leave me alone,” they have cultivated a global following with their humorous, high-energy shows.

Additionally, Ninajirachi, a solo electronic artist from New South Wales, will lead a vibrant dance party at Coachella on April 10 and 17. Emerging from the Triple J Unearthed High platform, she has quickly gained recognition for her innovative sound and captivating performances.

The Coachella festival is not just a platform for music; it represents a cultural phenomenon that influences trends and connects artists with millions of fans. With these Australian acts joining a prestigious lineup, the festival promises to be a landmark event in 2026.

As anticipation builds, fans are encouraged to mark their calendars and prepare for a festival experience that celebrates creativity and musical diversity. This is a major opportunity for these artists to shine on a global stage and showcase the rich music culture of Australia.
