This crucial funding aims to uplift the local community and foster development through various initiatives.

Mal Carter, Chair of Macedon Ranges Community Enterprises Ltd, expressed pride in the bank’s contribution, stating, “We are proud to be part of the largest social enterprise movement in Australia, returning at least 80 percent of our profits to the local community each year in the form of grants, scholarships, sponsorships, and donations.”

This year marks a landmark achievement for the bank, with total contributions reaching an impressive $4 million since its inception in 2008. Carter emphasized the importance of community support, highlighting the dedication of shareholders, staff, and customers who have driven this success.
