Silo Series Book Box Set Hits Record Low Price at Amazon

Fans of the dystopian science fiction series, Silo, can now enjoy significant savings on the book series that inspired the hit Apple TV+ show. The Silo Series 3-Book Box Set is currently priced at an all-time low of only $22 at both Amazon and Walmart. This comes as viewers eagerly await the premiere date for the third season, which will be based on the second book, Shift.

A Deluxe Collector’s Edition of Hugh Howey‘s Shift was released earlier this week, retailing for $37. This edition serves as a stylish introduction to the series for newcomers and returning fans alike. Shift is set before the events of Wool, the first book in the Silo series, which has also seen a price reduction. The Wool Deluxe Collector’s Edition is being offered for just $20, down from $40, although this deal is currently exclusive to Walmart after selling out on Amazon.

For those who prefer digital formats, the Kindle edition of the Silo Series 3-Book Box Set is available for an astonishing $3 for a limited time. Such prices make it an excellent opportunity for readers to dive into Howey’s gripping narratives, which depict humanity’s struggle for survival in a post-apocalyptic world.

Exploring the Silo Universe

The Silo series paints a vivid picture of a world where humanity is forced to reside in an underground silo due to the inhospitable conditions above. The narrative follows Juliette, a mechanic who is thrust into a leadership role when the silo’s sheriff departs. Her quest to uncover a world-altering conspiracy forms the crux of this exciting saga.

Howey’s original self-publishing journey began with Wool, released in serialized novellas through Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing. This strategy harkens back to the serialized novels of the 19th century, reminiscent of works by authors like Charles Dickens. Wool’s success on Kindle paved the way for its print edition and subsequent adaptation into a highly acclaimed television series that premiered in 2023. The show has garnered critical acclaim and is set to conclude with a fourth season, expected to air late next year.

In addition to the box set, the Silo Series also boasts a well-received audiobook version narrated by Edoardo Ballerini. Audible members can acquire all three books for approximately $30, while non-members will pay around $40. For graphic novel enthusiasts, a 2014 adaptation of Wool is available in paperback for $11.50, down from $19.

Hugh Howey’s Expansive Works

Beyond the Silo series, Howey has authored several standalone novels and the best-selling duology, The Sand Chronicles. His other works include:

– The Sand Chronicles (Paperback): Sand: Book 1 for $12.49 (was $20)
– Across the Sand: Book 2 for $14.43 (was $20)
– Beacon 23: The Complete Novel (Paperback) for $11.29 (was $19)
– Half Way Home: A Novel (Paperback) for $11 (was $19)
– The Hurricane: A Novel (Paperback) for $14
– Machine Learning: New and Collected Stories for $10.49 (was $18)

As the literary landscape evolves, several other popular science fiction series are also set to receive special editions. For instance, Dennis E. Taylor’s Bobiverse series will see its first hardcover edition released on October 7, 2023, with a special price of $21 (was $30). Meanwhile, Pierce Brown’s Red Rising series will launch a deluxe slipcase edition on October 14, 2023, priced at $35 (was $50).

As readers anticipate new installments and adaptations, the Silo series remains a compelling narrative that continues to engage audiences through various formats and editions.
