New Bluey Christmas Coins Release Sparks Collector Excitement

URGENT UPDATE: The Royal Australian Mint has just announced the release of two exciting new Bluey Christmas coins, designed to delight fans and collectors alike. These vibrant coins feature Bluey and her little sister Bingo, celebrating the joy of an Australian summer Christmas, and they come packaged in a festive ornament.

Starting at 8:30 AM on October 16, 2023, these highly anticipated coins will be available for purchase through a ballot system at the Mint shop and via authorized distributors. Don’t miss your chance to register for the ballot, which opens Monday, October 13, and closes Wednesday, October 15. Successful entrants will be notified immediately after the draw, making it crucial to act fast.

The collectible coins include the $1 Coloured Uncirculated Coin – Bluey Christmas, priced at $20, and the $1 Coloured Fine Silver Proof Coin – Bluey Christmas, available for $100. Each coin is presented in a decorative hanging Christmas Tree ornament, designed to “capture the happiness and wonder” of Bluey and her family.

Emily Martin, acting CEO of the Royal Australian Mint, expressed enthusiasm about the new release, stating, “We’re delighted to be releasing more this Christmas. Bluey is loved by fans across the world, and we know these coins will bring joy to many families.”

Scott Modra, interim director of brands and licensing at BBC Studios, echoed this sentiment, noting, “These festive coins capture the heart and playfulness of Bluey, and will add a little extra sparkle to holiday celebrations across Australia and beyond.”

This release follows the sellout success of the 2024 Bluey Dollarbucks coins, underscoring the demand for collectibles tied to this beloved children’s series. As the holiday season approaches, these coins are not only a perfect gift but also a wonderful way to start a child’s first coin collection.

For collectors eager to secure these delightful items, visit the Royal Australian Mint’s official website at www.ramint.gov.au to learn more and register for the ballot. Act quickly—these coins are expected to sell out fast!

Stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches, and prepare to celebrate the festive season with Bluey and Bingo!
