Bell Potter Reveals Top ASX Shares to Buy Right Now: October Picks

UPDATE: Bell Potter has just announced its latest top picks for ASX shares to buy in October, urging investors to consider these stocks immediately. The brokerage’s recommendations come as the Australian market shows promising potential, with three standout companies identified as undervalued opportunities.

Centuria Capital Group (ASX: CNI) makes its debut on Bell Potter’s panel this month, drawing attention for its strong fundamentals. The investment manager oversees approximately $21 billion in assets, primarily focused on real estate. Bell Potter highlights that CNI is poised to benefit from favorable trends in the property sector, stating,

“CNI is well positioned to benefit from tailwinds in the Real Estate sector, and we see cyclical upside yet to be priced in.”

Next on the list is Praemium Ltd (ASX: PPS), an investment platform provider that Bell Potter believes is trading at a significant discount compared to its peers. The firm emphasizes that while Praemium has demonstrated strong operational performance, its valuation remains low. Bell Potter notes,

“This stock looks very attractive at a 12MF PE of ~18x, and we expect the market to catch on as the company executes on further market share gains and FUA growth.”

Finally, Universal Store Holdings Ltd (ASX: UNI) has been identified as another compelling buy. This youth-focused fashion retailer is anticipated to experience double-digit earnings growth in the coming years. According to Bell Potter,

“UNI will continue to increase store numbers over the next few years, supporting earnings growth of 10% p.a.”

The shares are currently trading at an attractive forward price-to-earnings ratio of approximately 16x.

These insights from Bell Potter not only highlight potential investment opportunities but also reflect a broader market sentiment that could influence investor decisions. With the Australian equities market evolving, these stocks offer a chance to capitalize on emerging trends.

Investors are encouraged to act quickly as these developments could significantly impact their portfolios. Keep an eye on Centuria Capital, Praemium, and Universal Store as they navigate the changing market landscape this October.

For those considering their next investment moves, these recommendations from Bell Potter are essential to watch.
