Urgent Appeal: Police Seek Public Help for Missing Dubbo Man

URGENT UPDATE: Police are calling for immediate public assistance to locate 34-year-old Charlie Hand, who has gone missing from Dubbo. Concern is growing for his welfare as his disappearance is considered unusual.

Mr. Hand was last spotted on Talbragar Street around 9 PM on Friday, October 3, 2025. Authorities from the Orana Mid-Western Police District were alerted to his absence at approximately 7 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, while they were conducting an unrelated investigation.

Police and family members are increasingly worried, stating that this situation is out of character for Mr. Hand. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, standing between 175-180 cm tall, with a thin build, brown hair, and beard stubble. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a dark blue shirt, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap.

Authorities have noted that Mr. Hand often frequents the areas surrounding Dubbo, Mendooran, Trangie, and Warren. Residents in these locations are urged to remain vigilant and report any sightings to the police immediately.

The police are asking anyone with information to come forward as time is of the essence. The urgency of this appeal cannot be overstated; every moment counts in ensuring Mr. Hand’s safe return.
