RUSH Announces 2026 ‘Fifty Something Tour’ with Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson

Canadian rock legends RUSH are set to return to the stage with their highly anticipated Fifty Something Tour in 2026. This marks the first time that founding members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will tour together since 2015, much to the excitement of their dedicated fan base.

The tour will kick off in North America, featuring a series of concerts across various cities. Specific dates and venues are expected to be announced in the coming months, but fans can anticipate an exhilarating experience filled with classic hits and new tracks. The announcement follows a resurgence of interest in RUSH’s music, fueled by recent reissues and documentaries celebrating the band’s legacy.

Celebrating a Legendary Career

RUSH, known for their intricate compositions and thought-provoking lyrics, has been a significant influence on the rock genre since their formation in 1968. The band, which also included the late Neil Peart, has sold over 40 million records worldwide, securing their place in music history. The upcoming tour aims to reflect on their extensive catalog while offering fans a chance to experience their music live once more.

In a recent statement, Geddy Lee expressed his enthusiasm about reuniting with Alex Lifeson for this special tour. “It’s been too long since we last performed together, and we can’t wait to connect with our fans again,” he said. The duo’s chemistry on stage is anticipated to rekindle the electric energy that RUSH concerts are famous for.

Anticipation Builds Among Fans

Since the news broke, social media platforms have been buzzing with excitement. Fans are eagerly sharing their memories of past concerts and expressing their anticipation for the upcoming shows. Tickets for the Fifty Something Tour are expected to sell out quickly, given the band’s loyal following and the limited number of performances planned.

Industry experts suggest that the tour could be a significant financial success, especially given the current revival of interest in classic rock bands. With several generations of fans eager to witness RUSH perform live, the potential for sold-out venues across North America is high.

As the band prepares for this new chapter, they continue to inspire countless musicians and listeners alike. The Fifty Something Tour promises not only to celebrate the band’s storied history but also to solidify RUSH’s enduring legacy in the world of music.
