URGENT UPDATE: Authorities have located critical stolen property, including three dirt bikes, during an ongoing investigation in Coolah. Just after 4:30 PM on October 8, 2023, officers from the Orana Mid-Western Police District acted swiftly, leading to the arrest of a 33-year-old man.
The police were assisting the Hume Police District with inquiries related to property stolen from multiple businesses across the state’s south and west. Their efforts culminated at an address on Irwin Street, where they discovered a range of alleged stolen items, including a vehicle, a trailer, and a significant number of tools.
Following a thorough search warrant execution, the authorities seized the dirt bikes and other valuable property, significantly impacting the investigation into the thefts. The arrested individual was transported to Dubbo Police Station, where he faces multiple charges.
He was subsequently refused bail and is scheduled to appear before the Local Bail Division Court today, October 9.
