Urgent Update: Three Injured in Kelso Two-Car Collision

BREAKING: Three individuals, including a primary school-aged girl, were assessed for injuries following a two-car accident at a busy intersection in Kelso this morning. Emergency services rushed to the scene at the corner of Sydney Road and Gilmour Street just before 7:00 AM on October 11.

Authorities report that the girl was traveling with a man and a woman in their 40s when the collision occurred. Paramedics treated the young girl for minor injuries, while the two adults escaped without any harm. In the second vehicle involved, all three occupants were unharmed and did not require medical assessment.

A fortunate outcome given the circumstances, as no one needed to be transported to the hospital. Emergency crews worked swiftly at the site, ensuring traffic was diverted safely around the incident. As of now, the scene has been fully cleared, and traffic flow has resumed without disruption.

With the ongoing Bathurst 1000 event increasing road traffic, authorities urge drivers to exercise heightened caution while traveling in the area. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety during busy periods.
