Apple Resolves macOS Tahoe 26 Beta 3 Issue for Developers

Apple has rectified a distribution issue affecting the Apple Silicon version of macOS Tahoe 26 developer beta 3, making it available for all compatible Macs. Earlier today, users reported problems related to Rosetta 26 beta 3, a critical component for running Intel apps on Apple Silicon devices. Although Apple has not officially confirmed the issue, the update is now accessible for Macs powered by the M1, M2, and M3 chips.

Understanding the Update Process

For developers eager to get started with macOS Tahoe 26 beta 3, the installation process is straightforward. Users should begin by backing up their Mac, then proceed to System Settings. From there, navigate to General, select Software Update, and click the ‘i’ icon next to Beta Updates. In the dropdown menu on the top-right, choose the macOS Developer Tahoe Beta option, and click ‘Done’ to initiate the update.

During the WWDC25 keynote, Apple announced that public betas are anticipated to release this month. Typically, these public betas coincide with developer beta 3 or 4, hinting that the broader release is imminent. While Apple has not specified new features or changes in developer beta 3, it is expected to include routine improvements and bug fixes.

Awaiting Public Beta and Community Feedback

Developers and enthusiasts are keen to explore any potential new features or modifications within the system. As the community digs into the latest beta, feedback and discoveries will be shared widely, further informing users about what to expect. Apple users are encouraged to report any noticeable changes they encounter while using the update.

In a separate development, there are notable price reductions on Apple’s AirPods line. The AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C Charging has dropped from $249 to $149. Similarly, the AirPods 4 with USB-C Charging is now priced at $89, down from $129. The AirPods 4 with both USB-C and Wireless Charging is available for $119, reduced from $179, while the AirPods Max with USB-C Charging in Midnight color sees a price cut to $449.99, down from $549.

This latest development highlights Apple’s continued focus on enhancing user experience through timely updates and attractive product offers. As the tech community prepares for the public beta release, the anticipation is building around what innovations Apple has in store with macOS Tahoe 26.
