UPDATE: A man has been rescued after a harrowing 12-hour kidnapping ordeal in Sydney, with police arresting three suspects during a dramatic raid. The incident unfolded on November 2, when detectives received reports of the alleged crime, prompting an urgent investigation.
At approximately 8 AM, the 42-year-old victim was at his home in Riverwood when a group of unknown individuals forcibly entered the property, assaulted him, and abducted him. Authorities quickly established a crime scene at the victim’s residence and began tracking leads on the suspects.
By 8 PM the same day, detectives located a house on Susan Street in Auburn, where they believed the man was being held. Upon entering the property, police discovered a 44-year-old woman allegedly assaulting the victim. In a swift response, she and two men, aged 28 and 33, attempted to flee but were apprehended after a brief chase.
The victim was assessed by paramedics on-site before being transported to the hospital for further treatment. Authorities seized a baton and cable ties, which were reportedly used during the kidnapping, from a nearby Mitsubishi SUV.
