Mediterranean fast-casual chain Panini Kabob Grill is poised for significant expansion in Southern California, with multiple new locations in development. The company has announced plans to open a new restaurant in Eastvale by next year; however, the exact address has not yet been disclosed. Founded in 1997 in Corona Del Mar, the chain currently operates 30 locations across California.
The expansion will encompass a variety of regions within Southern California, including Orange County, Los Angeles County, San Diego County, Kern County, and the Inland Empire. Future locations also include Las Vegas, Chandler, Norwalk, Downey, and Hollywood Park, in addition to Aliso Viejo, which has been highlighted in recent media coverage.
Innovative Growth Strategy
In an effort to adapt to changing consumer behavior, Panini Kabob Grill is investing in “digital kitchens” as part of its growth strategy. This initiative is designed to enhance its takeout and catering services, which currently account for 67% of the chain’s overall business. According to a report by SFGATE, these digital kitchens will enable the chain to streamline operations and better serve its customers.
The menu at Panini Kabob Grill features a variety of scratch-made Mediterranean dishes, all prepared fresh daily. Diners can enjoy a selection of grilled chicken and beef kabobs, salmon, organic tofu, paninis, pastas, as well as house-made sauces and dressings. The restaurant’s commitment to quality ingredients and preparation methods has contributed to its growing popularity in California.
As the demand for fast-casual dining continues to rise, Panini Kabob Grill is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend. With its focus on fresh Mediterranean cuisine and a robust expansion plan, the chain aims to enhance its presence in the competitive restaurant landscape of Southern California.
