UK PM Urges Prince Andrew to Testify in Epstein Probe NOW

UPDATE: The pressure is mounting on former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to testify before a U.S. congressional committee investigating the notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In a striking declaration during the Group of 20 summit in Johannesburg, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that individuals with relevant information should come forward to provide evidence.

Starmer emphasized, “I don’t comment on his particular case. But as a general principle, I’ve held for a very long time that anybody who has got relevant information in relation to these kinds of cases should give that evidence to those that need it.” His comments mark a critical shift in the ongoing investigation, as calls for accountability grow louder.

The House Oversight Committee has requested a “transcribed interview” with Andrew regarding his “long-standing friendship” with Epstein. However, Andrew has so far ignored these requests, raising concerns about his willingness to cooperate. The former prince was stripped of his royal titles and honors just last month, as the royal family seeks to distance itself from the fallout of his association with Epstein.

The urgency of this matter is highlighted by the statements from committee members Robert Garcia of California and Suhas Subramanyam of Virginia, who declared that Andrew “continues to hide” from serious questions. They added, “Our work will move forward with or without him, and we will hold anyone who was involved in these crimes accountable, no matter their wealth, status, or political party. We will get justice for the survivors.”

As the investigation progresses, the implications for Andrew and the royal family are significant. The ongoing scrutiny could lead to further revelations about Epstein’s extensive network and the individuals involved. The public and survivors of Epstein’s crimes are watching closely, demanding transparency and justice.

What happens next? The committee plans to continue its investigation regardless of Andrew’s participation. The pressure is on him to respond, as his silence may only intensify the scrutiny he faces. This developing story is one to watch closely, as it could have lasting ramifications for both Andrew and the broader context of accountability for those connected to Epstein.
