Perth influencer Em Davies is grieving the unexpected loss of her close friend, Daniel “Dan Dan” Sheard, who passed away in his sleep on November 19, 2023. The 33-year-old was engaged to Davies’ best friend, Temika Miller, and they shared a three-month-old son named Crue.
In a heartfelt tribute shared on social media, Davies expressed her profound sorrow, describing Sheard as “the kind of dad, partner, and friend people are lucky to experience even once in a lifetime.” She highlighted his pure spirit, humor, and generosity, stating, “There are no words big enough for this kind of heartbreak.”
Davies, who is also a mother to baby Isla, posted a collection of images reflecting cherished moments spent with Sheard, which included holidays, weddings, and intimate gatherings. “Being Crue’s godmother is a gift I’ll hold close for the rest of my life,” she wrote, expressing her gratitude for the memories they created together.
Miller also shared her grief, stating that their love was “so special it will outlive even the deepest pain of losing you.” She acknowledged her heartbreak, saying, “My heart is completely broken, and I don’t know how it will ever be whole again. But I am so grateful for the greatest gift you ever gave me, our beautiful son.”
In response to this tragic loss, several prominent Australian content creators have offered their condolences. Nikki Westcott voiced her sorrow, stating, “This is just so heartbreaking. I’m so sorry, my girl. Gone far too soon.” Rahnee Bransby echoed her sentiments, expressing, “Oh Temika, I’m so sorry. This is beyond heartbreaking. Sending so much love your way.”
In an effort to alleviate the financial burden resulting from this tragedy, Davies has launched a GoFundMe campaign aimed at raising funds for funeral expenses and support for Miller and Crue. The campaign, titled “For Dan’s final goodbye & his world, Temika and baby Crue,” has set a target of $16,000. As of now, it has already raised over $12,000.
The GoFundMe page poignantly states, “This is an unimaginable loss for Temika, for baby Crue, and for Dan’s family. No mother should ever have to face this, and no child should grow up without the chance to know just how incredible their dad was.” The page reassures supporters that they will ensure Crue knows about his father’s loving and caring nature.
This heartbreaking situation has united friends, family, and the wider community, showcasing the deep impact Sheard had on those around him. The public can contribute to the GoFundMe campaign to support Miller and Crue during this challenging time.
