Hopdoddy Burger Bar Announces Exciting New Location in Leander

URGENT UPDATE: Hopdoddy Burger Bar is set to open its sixth location in the Greater Austin area, with plans confirmed for a new eatery in Leander. The popular gourmet burger chain, which originated in Austin, is expected to welcome guests at 19389 Ronald W Reagan Blvd, Suite 100 in the summer of 2026.

According to the latest state permit, construction for the new restaurant is slated to begin in early 2026 and should conclude by June. If all goes according to plan, the highly anticipated opening could occur by July 2026. This news comes as Austin’s beloved burger joint continues to expand its footprint in Texas and beyond.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar is not your typical burger spot. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and sit-down dining experience, the restaurant features a full bar and a menu that includes more than just burgers. Patrons can enjoy unique offerings such as chicken strips and sandwiches, alongside their signature burgers paired with shaved Brussels sprouts fries topped with gourmet seasonings.

Founded in 2010 by industry veterans Guy Villavaso, Larry Foles, Chuck Smith, and Larry Perdido, Hopdoddy made its mark with the opening of its first location in Austin. Since then, the chain has grown to include 31 locations across Texas and over 50 locations nationwide, including states like Arizona, California, Colorado, and Tennessee.

CEO Jeff Chandler and the HiBar Hospitality Group are not stopping their growth any time soon. There are ambitious plans for further expansion, aiming to increase the number of locations significantly by 2030.

The excitement surrounding the new Leander location is palpable, as residents eagerly anticipate the arrival of a culinary experience that has garnered a loyal following in the Austin area. If the new restaurant follows the success of its siblings in the region, it is sure to become a popular destination for locals.

As the construction phase kicks off, keep an eye on updates regarding the opening date. Hopdoddy Burger Bar is poised to deliver its signature blend of quality food and vibrant dining experience to Leander, making this a must-visit spot for burger lovers when it opens its doors.

Stay tuned for more developments on this exciting addition to the Greater Austin area!
