UPDATE: Authorities have issued an urgent appeal for assistance in locating two teenage girls missing from the Blue Mountains area. Iris Geutjes and Alannah Howard, both just 14 years old, were last seen together at Penrith Railway Station at approximately 9:50 AM today, November 27.
Police from the Blue Mountains Police Area Command have launched an investigation following concerns for the girls’ welfare due to their young age. Family members are particularly anxious, emphasizing the need for urgent public support in locating Iris and Alannah.
Both girls are described as being of Asian appearance, approximately 150cm-160cm tall, with a slim build and black shoulder-length hair. At the time of their disappearance, they were wearing matching black jackets, black pants, and carrying black backpacks.
Police believe the girls may have traveled to Chatswood, and are urging anyone with information on their whereabouts to come forward immediately.
