AC/DC arrived in Perth on Tuesday ahead of their Perth shows.

AC/DC has landed in Perth ahead of their two highly anticipated concerts at Optus Stadium, scheduled for November 30 and December 4, 2023. The iconic rock band, known for their electrifying performances, arrived on a private jet, drawing the attention of dedicated fans eager to welcome them to the city that was home to their legendary late frontman, Bon Scott.

The band members, including lead guitarist Angus Young, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney, were greeted by a warm Perth day as they stepped off the plane. Dressed in casual, relaxed outfits, they were met with cheers from a crowd of devoted supporters. Laug stood out in a red cap and blue sunglasses, effortlessly capturing the excitement of the moment.

As the group made their way to their luxury riverside hotel, Brian Johnson was seen lighting a cigarette, showcasing a laid-back demeanor that fans have come to associate with the band’s rock-and-roll lifestyle. The concerts are set to begin at 20:30 local time, promising an exhilarating setlist that includes classic hits such as “Highway to Hell,” “Thunderstruck,” and “T.N.T.”

Supporting acts for the concerts include Amyl and The Sniffers and Southern River Band, both of whom are expected to add to the high-energy atmosphere of the evening. AC/DC’s Power Up tour commenced on November 12 in Melbourne and has since garnered rave reviews from audiences in Sydney and Adelaide.

Following the Perth shows, the band will continue their tour with two concerts scheduled in Brisbane on December 14 and December 18. AC/DC’s legacy in the rock music scene is undeniable; they have sold over 200 million albums worldwide since their formation. Their first performance took place on December 31, 1973, at Chequers Nightclub in Sydney, marking the beginning of what would become one of the most influential careers in music history.

As fans prepare for the electrifying performances at Optus Stadium, anticipation continues to build, affirming AC/DC’s status as rock legends.
