BREAKING: Personal trainer Lorelle Haag has just been crowned the Asia Pacific Figure Pro Overall Champion in Bali, marking a significant milestone in her bodybuilding career. This victory comes after a remarkable year filled with national and international achievements.
On 6 December 2025, Haag triumphed at her first international competition, showcasing her exceptional skills by securing first place in both the masters figure pro division and the figure pro open division. This win solidifies her status as a top competitor in the sport.
Earlier this year, Haag reclaimed her title as Masters Figure Champion at the ICN Queensland titles in September, where she also secured second place in the open division and over-40s category. Her journey continued on 13 October at the NBA National Pro Titles in Sydney, where she earned a commendable fourth place in the masters pro division against Australia’s elite athletes.
Reflecting on her Bali experience, Haag expressed profound gratitude, stating,
“This was my first overseas competition and it was such an amazing experience. Meeting athletes from around seven different countries, sharing the stage with them, and supporting each other was truly inspiring.”
Haag, who is approaching 60 years old, emphasized that this achievement proves that age is no barrier to pursuing dreams. She stated,
“To be almost 60 and in the best shape of my life is an incredible feeling.”
Her husband, Peter Dodd, a former bodybuilding competitor who previously placed fourth at the World Titles in France, played a pivotal role in her success. Together, they meticulously planned her training and nutrition over the past eight months, ensuring she was competition-ready.
Looking ahead, Haag is determined to continue building muscle and conditioning, with aspirations of competing internationally again, potentially in the UK. She encourages others to pursue their passions, asserting,
“It just proves that you can still accomplish any dream if you have determination and are committed to it.”
This victory not only highlights Haag’s dedication but also serves as an inspiration to many in the fitness community. Stay tuned for updates on her future competitions and ongoing journey in the world of bodybuilding.
