Detectives from the Mildura Crime Investigation Unit have charged two men in connection with a series of alleged burglaries at a golf club and a racecourse in Mildura, Australia. The individuals are believed to have targeted the Nichols Point Golf Club, the Mildura Racecourse, and a property in Irymple between October 28 and December 5, 2023.
On December 9, 2023, detectives executed search warrants at several properties in Mildura, Robinvale, and Nichols Point. During these operations, investigators seized various tools, a stolen 2007 Isuzu truck, and a motorcycle, which is alleged to have been taken during the Irymple burglary.
The two suspects, a 37-year-old man from Mildura and a 31-year-old man from Nichols Point, now face multiple counts of burglary. The 31-year-old has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Mildura Magistrates’ Court on January 19, 2026. Meanwhile, the 37-year-old has been granted bail and will also appear in court on the same date.
This series of events highlights ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat property crime in the region. The investigation remains active as detectives continue to gather evidence and assess the full extent of the alleged criminal activity.
