URGENT UPDATE: The Byron Bay Boardriders have achieved remarkable success at the 2025 Cooee Grommet Pro, held from December 13 to 15 at Coolum Beach, Sunshine Coast. The Cooee Grommet Pro stands as one of Australia’s premier junior surfing competitions, drawing the nation’s top young surfers across various age divisions. Among the standout performances was 7-year-old Lakey Rae Bell, who displayed exceptional bravery and skill in waves that reached triple overhead.
