URGENT UPDATE: The upcoming Tamworth Country Music Festival (TCMF) is set to make a significant impact once again, as sales of the festival’s iconic Stetson-style hats and limited edition pins aim to raise over $50,000 for Sora Community Services during the festival kicking off on January 16, 2026.
For the second consecutive year, Sora will benefit from the sales, continuing its mission to provide essential services in homelessness, domestic violence, and family support across Tamworth and the New England and North West regions.
Catherine Wood, Chief Operating Officer of Sora, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “The continued partnership will assist Sora to more effectively support those in need during 2026.” She emphasized the critical role the funds play in enabling Sora to act swiftly in supporting individuals escaping domestic violence and preventing homelessness.
Last year’s sales from festivalgoers significantly enhanced Sora’s ability to provide ongoing support to families and individuals, facilitating their journey back to stability. Wood remarked, “We’re incredibly grateful to be partnering with Toyota Australia again as its charity partner for the iconic hat and pins sales during the 2026 festival.”
As the festival approaches, attendees are encouraged to purchase these popular souvenirs at the Toyota Zone on Fitzroy Street in Tamworth. The proceeds will directly contribute to Sora’s initiatives, allowing them to expand their services and “help keep people safe and help them to thrive,” according to Wood.
The 54th TCMF promises not only to deliver outstanding music but also to foster community support and uplift those in need. With the festival just around the corner, the urgency to contribute to this cause has never been more critical.
Festivalgoers can look forward to a memorable experience that benefits the community directly. Stay tuned for more updates as the festival date approaches and join in on the movement to make a difference!
