Previous attempts to broker peace, including two rounds of discussions in Abu Dhabi, have not yielded significant progress. President Zelenskiy stated last week that the United States has set a deadline of June 2024 for both nations to reach a substantive agreement. Past deadlines set by former President Donald Trump had little impact, often passing without any significant outcomes.
