Great Harvest Bakery to Open Second Lansing Location Soon

Great Harvest Bakery & Cafe is set to open its second location in Lansing, taking over the space previously occupied by Z!Eats, which is closing its doors at 214 S Washington Square. The transition follows a report by the Lansing State Journal, confirming the timeline for the cafe’s new opening within the next three to six weeks.

Owner Raymond Neatfield expressed enthusiasm about the new venue, emphasizing the chain’s commitment to quality ingredients. He stated, “It’s all clean ingredients, locally sourced,” highlighting the absence of additives and preservatives in their offerings. This philosophy aligns with the company’s slogan: “Bread, the way it ought to be.”

The new Lansing location will join the existing Great Harvest outlet at 6137 W Saginaw Way. Founded in 1976 in Montana, Great Harvest has expanded across the country, making this opening part of its latest growth strategy.

Great Harvest Bakery & Cafe is well-known for its diverse menu, which features an array of baked goods, including cookies, muffins, teacakes, and scones, alongside specialty breads and gluten-free options. The café also offers a selection of sandwiches made with their signature fresh-baked breads, including chicken salad, ham and cheese, and spicy turkey with pepper jack.

The new café will be conveniently located next to Market On the SQ2 and Summit Comics & Games, ensuring easy access for residents and visitors alike.
