Leagues Cup Kicks Off Today on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV

The highly anticipated Leagues Cup returns today, marking the beginning of an exciting tournament for soccer fans. This year, the competition features teams from Major League Soccer (MLS) and Mexico’s Liga MX, with a total of **62 matches** scheduled, culminating in the final on **August 31, 2025**. All matches will stream live on **MLS Season Pass** via the **Apple TV** app, making it accessible to fans across more than **100 countries** and regions.

The Leagues Cup aims to foster rivalry between MLS and Liga MX clubs, building on the success of previous editions. For those eager to watch, every match will be available with commentary in both English and Spanish. Notably, **Apple** will provide **37 Leagues Cup matches** to **Apple TV+** subscribers at no additional cost, including all knockout round encounters.

Fans using **Apple TV 4K** or **iPads** can take advantage of the **Multiview** feature, which allows them to watch up to four matches simultaneously. For viewers who join late, the **Catch Up** feature offers the opportunity to view significant moments before syncing to the live broadcast. The streaming service will also include exclusive pre- and post-match content, enhancing the viewing experience with shows such as **Leagues Cup Countdown** and **Leagues Cup Wrap-Up** in English, as well as **La Previa** and **El Resumen** in Spanish.

To cater to Spanish-speaking audiences, Apple has enlisted a new lineup of broadcasters, featuring prominent figures such as **Oswaldo Sánchez**, **Pável Pardo**, and **Ana Jurka**. The **MLS Season Pass** is available through the Apple TV app on various platforms, including smart TVs, game consoles, and web browsers. For new subscribers, Apple offers a seasonal **MLS Season Pass** priced at **$49**, while existing **Apple TV+** subscribers can access it for **$39**.

Comprehensive Coverage Across Apple Platforms

In addition to live match streaming, Apple is expanding its Leagues Cup coverage across multiple platforms. The **Apple Sports** app, now available in **Mexico**, allows iPhone users to track tournament stats and standings easily. Fans can navigate scores, upcoming matches, play-by-play information, team statistics, lineup details, and live betting odds, while also linking to the Apple TV app for live viewing.

Apple Music is also getting involved by curating exclusive warm-up playlists for selected matches, featuring music from players like **Benjamin Cremaschi** and a debut playlist from **Diego Luna**. For those looking to explore stadium culture, **Apple Maps** provides guides to MLS stadiums, detailing their history and unique features.

Moreover, the **Apple News** app will host a dedicated Leagues Cup hub, offering the latest news, scores, and standings. Subscribers to the new **Apple News Sports** newsletter can receive personalized updates throughout the tournament.
