Amara Wynwood Welcomes BODY Hot Pilates as First Retail Tenant

Amara Wynwood has signed its first retail tenant, BODY Hot Pilates, as part of its ongoing development in Miami. The mixed-use multifamily community, created by PGIM Real Estate and Fifield Companies, is set to enhance the vibrant atmosphere of Wynwood with a unique fitness offering. BODY Hot Pilates will occupy approximately 1,831 square feet at the property located at 45 NE 27th Street, with construction set to begin immediately and an anticipated opening in March 2026.

The addition of BODY Hot Pilates aims to enrich the street-level retail promenade of Amara Wynwood. Known for its engaging combination of strength, movement, and style, the studio will contribute to the creative energy of Wynwood. This new location marks the brand’s third establishment in South Florida, following successful studios in Coral Gables and Aventura.

Creating a Community Hub

In a statement, Lindsey Senn, Chief Development Officer at Fifield Companies, expressed enthusiasm for the new partnership. “We are building a retail program that goes beyond traditional conveniences to create a lifestyle ecosystem,” she said. The introduction of BODY Hot Pilates is intended to enhance the resident experience and foster a sense of community, positioning Amara Wynwood as a premier mixed-use destination in Miami.

BODY Hot Pilates distinguishes itself by offering high-intensity Pilates in a heated environment, creating a full sensory experience defined by movement, music, and motivation. Each class is led by expert instructors and features lively playlists, cultivating a dynamic community focused on empowerment and well-being. Lyndsey Meade, Founder of BODY, highlighted the appeal of Wynwood, noting that the area attracts individuals who prioritize intentional living and high-performance wellness. She stated, “This studio will offer a setting where people can strengthen both body and mindset through the transformative impact of hot Pilates.”

A Vision for Inspired Living

Amara Wynwood features 210 residences, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, complemented by wellness-oriented amenities and 11,604 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The development encompasses 27,486 square feet of resort-style amenities, designed to promote balance and well-being among residents. The community includes a dedicated wellness suite, a sauna, cold plunge, and a state-of-the-art fitness center, alongside expansive pool decks, co-working spaces, and social lounges.

The incorporation of BODY Hot Pilates aligns with Amara’s holistic lifestyle approach, inviting the broader Wynwood community to partake in a culture of movement and renewal. Situated in a quieter enclave of Wynwood, residents will find themselves close to renowned murals, open-air galleries, independent boutiques, and a variety of dining options. With a Walk Score of 96, the area boasts dedicated bike lanes and convenient access to public transportation, including Metrobus, Metrorail, and Brightline stations. Major highways such as I-95, I-195, and SR 112 provide quick connections to Downtown Miami, the Design District, Midtown, Miami Beach, and Miami International Airport.

Leasing and property management at Amara Wynwood is handled by Bozzuto, which emphasizes a hospitality-first approach. For residential inquiries, interested individuals can visit www.amarawynwood.com. Retail leasing is spearheaded by Juan Andres Nava of Metro 1 Commercial.

As Amara Wynwood continues to develop, the introduction of BODY Hot Pilates marks a significant step in creating a vibrant and connected community within Miami’s artistic landscape.
