Anthropologie has signed a lease for a new location at the Lulah Hills mixed-use development in DeKalb County, further expanding its presence in the Atlanta area. According to a statement from the real estate developer EDENS, the store is expected to open in the first quarter of 2027.
The upcoming Anthropologie store will join a diverse lineup of retail tenants at Lulah Hills, which includes Publix, AMC Theatres, and Marshalls. This 78-acre development is set to transform the site of the former North DeKalb Mall, offering a total of 320,000 square feet of retail space.
Comprehensive Development Plans
Lulah Hills will not only provide retail options but also residential amenities. The project includes plans for 1,700 multifamily housing units and 100 townhomes, along with green spaces for community use. Renovations are already underway for a multifamily project named Novel Lulah Hills, which will feature 303 rental units and 92 townhome units. These residential units are slated for completion by late 2027.
With a focus on creating a vibrant community atmosphere, Lulah Hills aims to attract both shoppers and residents alike. The addition of Anthropologie signals a commitment to enhancing the retail landscape in the area, which has seen increased interest from various brands in recent years.
Anthropologie has been strategically expanding its footprint in Atlanta, recently opening a location for its in-house label Maeve in Buckhead Village. The brand is known for its unique blend of apparel, accessories, and home decor, catering to a diverse customer base.
The Lulah Hills development represents a significant investment in the DeKalb County area, aiming to revitalize the local economy while providing modern living and shopping options. As construction progresses, the community will look forward to the completion of this ambitious project, with the anticipation of new retail experiences and residential opportunities.
