Lulu’s Pasta Bar Expands with New Downtown Montreal Location

Lulu’s Pasta Bar, a popular fast-casual dining concept in Montreal, is set to open its fourth location in Downtown Montreal at 1396 Boul. De Maisonneuve Ouest. This new establishment will occupy the former site of Olivia’s Authentic Chicken, located near Concordia University. Although the official opening date has not been disclosed, the announcement comes as part of the brand’s ongoing expansion efforts.

The co-owners, Jimmy Petropoulos and Anthy Siounis, aim to replicate their successful formula at this new site, focusing on customizable pasta bowls prepared using high-quality ingredients. The brand’s unique approach has garnered a dedicated customer base, particularly for its made-to-order pasta dishes that can be tailored to individual preferences.

Expanding the Brand

The Downtown location follows Lulu’s recent expansion into Carrefour Laval, which marked its first venture into a mall environment. The brand currently operates two additional restaurants in Griffintown and Quartier Latin. This strategic growth underscores Lulu’s commitment to providing fresh pasta options in diverse settings, catering to both local residents and visitors.

Lulu’s Pasta Bar has distinguished itself in the culinary landscape with a menu that features signature dishes like Chicken Tarragon and Mushroom Truffle. In addition to these classics, creative offerings such as the Creamy Cheeseburger and Parmesan Bacon have become customer favorites. For those with dietary restrictions, the restaurant includes a vegan section and the option to build your own pasta bowls, ensuring a variety of choices for all diners.

A Strategic Location

The new Downtown address places Lulu’s in a high-traffic area frequented by students, office workers, and local residents. This location is ideal for the brand’s quick-service model, which combines the efficiency of fast food with the personalization and quality of fast-casual dining. Given the urban environment, Lulu’s aims to redefine the experience of enjoying fresh pasta, making it accessible and appealing to a broad audience.

All pasta served at Lulu’s is crafted from semolina flour, and the sauces are prepared fresh in-house, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to quality. This upcoming expansion highlights Lulu’s drive to innovate and adapt within the competitive dining market of Montreal. As the opening date approaches, the excitement surrounding the new location continues to grow, promising to be a welcome addition to the downtown dining scene.
