Oakberry Acai, a popular healthy fast-food franchise, is set to open its first location in Hallandale Beach, Florida. The new store will be situated at 801 N Federal Highway, Suite 108, as indicated in plan review documents submitted by Hallandale Purple Blossom Partners LLC. This expansion marks another milestone for the brand, which currently operates more than 600 stores across 35 countries, including Brazil, the United States, Portugal, and the United Kingdom.
Founded with the mission to promote acai as a nutritious option, Oakberry Acai has gained significant traction in the fast-food sector, appealing to health-conscious consumers. The menu features a variety of acai bowls and smoothies, including signature offerings like The Original, which combines acai, peanut butter, granola, and banana in a 16-ounce cup, and the Crunchy, layered with chia pudding, granola, strawberries, blueberries, and cocoa nibs. Another highlight is the Matcha bowl, made with double matcha chia pudding, strawberries, goji berries, and honey.
According to the Oakberry Acai website, the brand prides itself on using USDA organic-certified acai, ensuring that their bowls are vegan, high in antioxidants, gluten-free, and trans-fat-free. The emphasis on natural and nutrient-rich ingredients aims to maximize the health benefits associated with acai consumption. “We are on a journey to make acai known and appreciated all over the globe. Our healthy bowls and smoothies are now enjoyed by millions worldwide, especially those focused on their well-being,” the website states.
Inquiries were made to franchisee Adamar Guedin regarding the plans for the Hallandale Beach location, but he was unavailable for immediate comment. As Oakberry Acai continues to expand its footprint, the brand remains dedicated to bringing healthy alternatives to consumers everywhere.
