Sprouts Farmers Market is set to expand its presence in the United States with the opening of a new store in Centereach, New York, on January 30, 2024. This marks the grocery chain’s first new location of the year, aimed at providing fresh and natural food options to the local community. The store will kick off its opening with a series of promotional events from January 30 to February 1.
The new store will be located at 1934 Middle Country Road. An opening ceremony is scheduled for Friday at 6:45 AM, with the doors officially opening at 7:00 AM. Following the ceremony, a vibrant outdoor pop-up party will take place from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on January 30 and continue on January 31 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The event will include giveaways, live music from a DJ, tasting bars featuring seasonal produce, and free samples, alongside family-friendly activities.
Neil Manzella, a councilman in Centereach, expressed enthusiasm about the new store, stating, “The arrival of Sprouts Farmers Market is a great win for Centereach. Our community has been in need of a supermarket, and Sprouts not only meets that need but does so with a strong focus on quality and community involvement.” He emphasized the anticipated positive impact the store will have on the area.
As part of the opening festivities, Sprouts Farmers Market will distribute complimentary reusable goodie bags filled with samples and special products. The first 400 guests on Friday will receive a free long-stem rose from Falcon Farms Floral. Customers who sign up for a Sprouts Rewards account will also enjoy a 20% discount on their purchases during the opening weekend.
In addition to its community-focused initiatives, Sprouts Farmers Market will donate $325,000 to the Middle Country Library Foundation. This contribution aims to enhance educational programs related to nutrition, gardening, and wellness offered at the library, further demonstrating the grocery chain’s commitment to local engagement.
