Taziki’s Mediterranean Café Launches New Location in San Antonio

Taziki’s Mediterranean Café will officially open its new location in Northeast San Antonio on October 16, 2023. Situated at 22103 Bulverde Road, Suite 104, this new establishment promises to deliver fresh, scratch-made Mediterranean dishes to the community. This marks Taziki’s eighth restaurant in Texas and the third opening in Central Texas this year.

Community Celebration Planned

To commemorate the opening, Taziki’s will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the restaurant. The event will feature representatives from the Metro SA Chamber and Taziki’s Corporate Headquarters, highlighting the significance of this new location. The ceremony is scheduled to commence at 2 p.m., inviting local residents to join in the festivities and enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean.

The café is conveniently located near Johnson High School and Sprouts Farmers Market, within the Encino Park shopping center. Guests can expect a diverse menu, including customizable Kýpelos bowls with fresh Mediterranean ingredients, allowing diners to choose from bases like basmati rice, pasta with parmesan, or quinoa.

Commitment to Quality and Community

Lexie Leinneweber, Managing Member of Taziki’s, expressed gratitude for the support received from the Greater San Antonio community since the opening of the first location in New Braunfels. She stated, “We’re grateful for the excitement and support the Greater San Antonio community has shown since we opened our first area location in New Braunfels. With three stores now open, we’re thrilled to continue celebrating with our neighbors.”

Taziki’s prides itself on offering fresh, affordable, and scratch-made dishes, emphasizing a commitment to community connections and service. The café will operate from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays, making it accessible for both lunch and dinner.

Founded in 1998, Taziki’s Mediterranean Café is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. The brand has expanded across the United States, now boasting over 100 locations in 18 states. This year marks the company’s 25th anniversary, a significant milestone celebrated through various initiatives, including a partnership with Giving Kitchen, which provides emergency assistance to food service workers.

With its focus on wholesome Mediterranean fare made to order, the new San Antonio café aims to contribute positively to the local dining landscape, offering fresh and vibrant cuisine to the community. As Taziki’s continues to grow, it remains dedicated to its founding values and the satisfaction of its guests.
