Urban Air Adventure Park is poised to expand its presence in the Sacramento region with plans to open new locations in Elk Grove, Stockton, and Richmond. This initiative follows a three-unit deal signed by local entrepreneur Parampreet Singh Pannu and Talwinder Singh, a Bay Area-based director of engineering. While the expansion is in the works, Singh emphasized caution, indicating that final decisions have yet to be finalized.
According to a report by the Sacramento Business Journal, the Elk Grove location is currently in the site selection phase. Destiny Garcia, a spokesperson for Urban Air, confirmed that the Elk Grove park is expected to create approximately 65 jobs upon opening. The precise timeline for opening these new parks has not been disclosed, but updates are anticipated as planning progresses.
Adventure and Employment Opportunities Await
Urban Air Adventure Parks are notable for their extensive range of attractions designed to provide high-energy entertainment. Each park typically features over 20 attractions, including ropes courses, zip lines, adventure slides, obstacle courses, laser tag, and dodgeball. For visitors feeling hungry after their activities, the in-park Urban Café offers family-friendly meals such as pizza, chicken tenders, nachos, and fries.
Founded in 2011 in Southlake, Texas, Urban Air has rapidly expanded, now boasting over 400 parks either operational or in development worldwide. Currently, California is home to four Urban Air locations in Sacramento, Hanford, Fullerton, and Concord, with another park set to open in Murrieta by the end of the year. Additional locations are planned for Hayward, Palmdale, Gilroy, and Huntington Beach.
Tim Sharp, Brand President of Urban Air, expressed enthusiasm for the expansion in California, stating, “California is an incredible growth market for Urban Air, and we’re thrilled to be expanding our presence here. Each new park becomes a hub for fun in the community, where kids push their limits, families make memories and adventure is always around the corner.”
As the Sacramento region anticipates the arrival of these new parks, community members are encouraged to stay informed about site selection and opening timelines. Urban Air aims to foster a vibrant environment for families and children, enhancing the local entertainment landscape.
