The recent tragic incident in Bondi has left the community in shock and mourning. The Mayor of Kiama Municipal Council, along with Councillors and staff, expressed their deep sadness and offered heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives. They also extended wishes for a full recovery to those who sustained injuries during the event.
In a statement, the Mayor emphasized that there is no place for violence, hatred, racism, or antisemitism in society. “Acts of violence against innocent people are an attack on the values that bind us together as a community—respect, compassion, and care for one another,” the Mayor stated.
