Police Investigate Fatal Traffic Collision in Forest Lake

A serious traffic collision occurred in Forest Lake, resulting in the death of a 78-year-old man on December 26, 2023. Emergency services responded to the incident at approximately 11:55 AM along the Logan Motorway. Reports indicated that a blue Kia Cerato, parked in the emergency bay, was struck by a white Kia Cerato.

The driver of the blue Kia, identified as a Wilsonton resident, was pronounced deceased at the scene. In contrast, the driver of the white Kia, a 33-year-old woman from Cleveland, sustained no physical injuries and is currently cooperating with the ongoing investigation conducted by the Queensland Police.
