Police have initiated a comprehensive search for a missing boy named Danny, aged 12, who disappeared while swimming at Venus Bay this morning. He was last seen in the water at No 4 Beach around 11:30. After his family lost sight of him, they began searching the area with assistance from other beachgoers.
Emergency services were alerted shortly after 13:00, prompting a large-scale operation involving local police, the Air Wing, Water Police Squad, Coast Guard, State Emergency Service (SES), and Life Saving Victoria. Danny is described as approximately 170 cm tall, with a thin build, dark short hair, and dark eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a navy blue rash vest and navy blue boardshorts featuring a white stripe.
