Police Urge Public to Help Find Missing 16-Year-Old Kayla Burns

Authorities are seeking assistance from the public to locate Kayla Burns, a 16-year-old girl who has gone missing from the Central Coast region of New South Wales. She was last seen at approximately 15:30 on December 26, 2025, on James Road in Toukley.

Officers from the Tuggerah Lakes Police District have initiated an investigation following reports of her disappearance. Concerns for Kayla’s welfare have been raised due to her age and the circumstances surrounding her absence.

Kayla is described as having a Caucasian appearance, standing between 140cm and 150cm tall, with a thin build, light brown hair, and green eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a white t-shirt, a black jumper, black tights, and white shoes. Authorities believe she may frequent the Toukley and nearby Gorokan areas.
